“The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary.”
I was born and raised in a small town outside of Nashville where I spent most of my time riding and showing horses. Growing up I always wanted to be a math teacher, so after high school I attended CSCC for a year when I then decided that was not the career path for me. After a lot of thinking and many opinions, I decided to make one of my hobbies a career and enrolled at Paul Mitchell the School of Murfreesboro.
While attending Paul Mitchell the School, I was part of the honors program which allowed me to attend the Caper Event in Las Vegas, Nevada. After receiving my license I worked behind the chair for two years when I then decided I wanted to further my education in the hair industry which is what brought me to Juel, where I apprenticed under Johnna Rightmyer. I am constantly striving to further my education and firmly believe that Juel Salon is the perfect environment for that.
I pride myself on being fastidious and putting 100% into each client from the consultation to the blowout. I place a very high value on communicating with my clients, understanding their needs and respecting their hair. I get most of my inspiration from current fashion trends, seasonal colors, and classic films.
